Saki Shinjou (新条 サキ, Shinjō Saki) is a character in ADVANCED V.G. 2.

Biography

A special guest of the Jahana Group's VG executive committee. She is a true lady of character. Her past, her nationality, and so on are a mystery. A sadistic type who takes delight in heartlessly beating her opponent down; In the preliminary contests, she drove many contestants to a point where they were unable to rise again.

In truth, since Yuka, Reimi, Tamao, and every woman in VG were powerful fighters, Miranda could not take them all by herself. To makes things even, this is where Saki comes in. Saki's priority is to act as a hitman (or hitwoman to be accurate) to eliminate these threats one by one. Her real priority, is her main target: Reimi for being a disgrace to Miranda. Of course, if anyone were to stand in her way, she would attack them as well.

Special Attacks

  • Tetsu: Saki lunges forward, raking her nails into her opponent.
  • Ryou: Saki jumps forward and performs a spinning wheel kick onto her opponent.
  • Shoku: Saki jumps and performs a reverse spinning wheel kick onto her opponent, sending them airborne.
  • Sen: Saki lunges forward and performs a double elbow strike on her opponent.
  • Betsu: Saki's normal throw; she slaps her opponent down and then stomps on her repeatedly.
  • Ren: Saki's command throw. Taking hold of her opponent, they both go airborne, as Saki performs multiple somersaults in the air before slamming her opponent down.
  • Homura: Saki laughs maniacally and jumps into the air, tossing a "bomb" of energy that explodes in a vertical pillar onto her opponent.
  • Mizuchi: Saki cartwheels forward, stunning her opponent with a kick. She follows up with a Ryou, then a Shoku to send her opponent airborne. Saki leaps after her opponent and kicks her down to the ground from the opposite side.

Etymology

  • The name Saki is written in katakana (サキ), which has no special meaning. However, when written in kanji (咲), it could possibly mean "blossom".
  • Saki's surname Shinjou means "fresh, new" (新) (shin) and "article" (条) (jou).
